Jim Dine

Jim Dine was a leading figure in the American Pop Art movement. Known for their distinctive visual style, his works are highly creative and contain hidden symbolic meanings. Amongst his most notable graphic prints, the self-portrait “The Bathrobe” is singled out as exemplary of his artistry as a painter.
With works like “Hearts”, “Bathrobes” and “Shoes”, Jim Dine infused personal passion into a pop art movement that had until that point focused on impersonal objects. He is also credited with pioneering the repeated use of familiar images within the American Pop Art revolution.
